The Head of Real Estate Asset Management will be a key member of the real estate organization, responsible for property and asset management strategy and execution for the North American real estate portfolio. This role leads the North American Property Management (NAPM) function, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and optimizing portfolio performance.
Job Responsibility:
Provide strategic clarity and direction to the NAPM team
Lead a best-in-class training program for the broader real estate organization
Forecast and execute on key NAPM transactional priorities including capital raise and portfolio savings
Drive reporting to track key metrics and provide real estate insights to business units
Identify opportunities to increase organizational efficiency and standardize processes
Lead real estate support for company M&A activities
Partner with key stakeholders across business units and global corporate teams
Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all real estate activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
MBA or advanced degree preferred
CCIM or other certification
15+ years of experience in real estate or related fields
At least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven experience in asset management and property management across diverse real estate portfolios
Highly organized with ability to function at a high level under deadlines with limited supervision
Proficiency to handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders including senior management, landlords, attorneys, and external consultants
Strong background in market optimization strategies to maximize portfolio performance
Proficient in leading teams, including managing cross-functional collaborations
Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing all organizational levels
Competent in overseeing concurrent projects and adhering to deadlines
