Job Responsibility:
Play a central role in improving the quality and efficiency of the ASML Berlin site
Responsible for the process landscape at the Berlin site
Chair the cross-functional Quality Board, steer all quality initiatives at the Berlin site and act as the central interface to ASML’s global quality organization
Organize and prepare all internal and external audits
Responsible for leading and further developing quality and excellence programs (Q&E) that require company-wide integration
Develop Q&E solutions for complex, systemic challenges in manufacturing, development, and procurement
Promote the implementation of process improvements through innovative process design and optimization, define process transformation, and integrate quality improvements as a core organizational principle
Redefine standards and position the Berlin site as a leader in excellent quality
Mediate between senior management and quality departments to manage company-wide initiatives
Collaboratively shape and promote site Q&E standards through partnerships
Design and implement a lived Q&E culture in which employees take responsibility and can freely express their opinions
Responsible for actively promoting Q&E recognition programs and communication strategies
Manage customer expectations regarding Q&E at the site and guide leaders in aligning quality initiatives with customer needs
Promote initiatives to establish the company as a trusted partner and shape long-term customer relationships through outstanding quality experiences
Requirements:
Extensive experience in leading quality organizations and end-customer projects
Recognized as an expert in quality, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma/Lean concepts
Completed engineering degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or production engineering), ideally with a focus on quality management or manufacturing technologies
Certifications in quality management systems
Experience in leading improvement and transformation projects in complex organizations as well as in change management
Expertise in statistical process control to ensure stable and efficient production processes, and an affinity for intelligent data analysis
Professional leadership experience in project teams from various disciplines without disciplinary responsibility
Fluent communication skills in both German and English
