Job Responsibility:
Lead quality requirements, complaint-related risk management, and operational risk across the IWPB Distribution network
Manage and oversee the Distribution Business Continuity Planning (“BCP”) and Business Impact Analysis (“BIA”) plans
Develop and operate internal controls, ensuring consistent assessment of effectiveness to meet all regulatory and Global HSBC requirements
Effectively identify root cause and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver robust action plans and appropriate solutions
Provide and assess management information/data, offering recommendations for improvement and identifying performance gaps
Requirements:
Proven experience in an operational role within a retail banking environment
Solid understanding of Distribution channels and the Bermuda regulatory environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with impact across varied audiences
A comprehensive understanding of risk management and a proven track record in ensuring compliance with regulatory processes
Experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating risk within a Bank Branch & Distribution environment
