We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head of Quality attestation Assembly to lead and manage all quality attestation activities for detailed parts manufacturing within Airbus Aerostructures S.R.L. This critical role ensures compliance with aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies, guaranteeing the highest level of product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the quality attestation strategy and processes for all detailed parts manufactured
Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management
Oversee the entire attestation process, including inspection, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation for detailed parts
Ensure full compliance with national and international aerospace regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA), customer specifications, and internal Airbus quality management system requirements
Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality attestation function
Manage and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs)
Participate in internal and external audits
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and other relevant departments
Act as the primary point of contact for all quality attestation matters concerning detailed parts
Act in accordance with Airbus values and Code of Conduct
Position people safety at work and aviation safety at the heart of all activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent) or a related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry, with a significant focus on detailed parts
Proven experience in leading and managing a quality assurance or quality control team
In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS/EN 9100, EASA Part 21, Part 145) and regulatory requirements
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for detailed aerospace components (e.g., machining, forming, composite fabrication)
Demonstrated expertise in quality tools and methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 8D, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and lean manufacturing principles
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in relevant quality management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Romanian is required
