The Head of Protection & Annuity Business holds a key leadership role. This role oversees strategic direction, commercial performance, and customer value delivery for all Protection and Annuity lines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and deliver roadmaps for each business line, align with customer needs and market trends, monitor profitability, and present strategic updates to senior leadership
  • Lead teams through the full product lifecycle, drive innovation and continuous improvement, adapt to demographic and regulatory trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver competitive, well-priced pension and annuity solutions
  • Ensure robust governance, risk oversight, & compliance with regulatory standards, encouraging transparency & accountability
  • Contribute to IPP and broader organisational leadership, role-modelling values, and promoting a high-performance, inclusive culture

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in life assurance, with a consistent track record in protection and annuity products
  • Deep understanding of life insurance products, regulations, and disclosure requirements
  • Skilled in market analysis and driving competitive outcomes
