Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Property and Environment to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Charity’s Property and Environment function, ensuring the safe, compliant, and effective management of all locations and the Head Office estate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the effective management of ExtraCare’s asset portfolio
  • Lead the operational delivery of responsive, planned, preventative, and cyclical maintenance services across the estate
  • Take ownership for delivering and maintaining a robust compliance and building safety framework, ensuring adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements, whilst maintaining the highest standards of resident and colleague safety
  • Head the development and implementation of the Charity’s asset management and environmental sustainability strategies, ensuring the long-term effectiveness, compliance, and value of the estate

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
  • Professional membership such as RICS, CIOB, IWFM (or working towards)
  • Significant senior leadership experience within property, asset management, compliance or building safety functions
  • Robust working knowledge of current legislation and regulatory frameworks
