Job Description

The Programme Support function plays a critical part in delivering key programmes for 2Excel Aviation. The Head of Programme Support (HoPS) post will operate across all parts of our growing Capability Development team in delivering significant aircraft conversion programmes, trails activities and engineering function. These procedures and support may also be required in the wider business. The function of this post is to support programmes through administration of programme management tools and co-ordination of the programme support function delivery teams to an agreed end state. The programme management competence/capacity may eventually be brigaded in a Programme Management Office which supports various tasking.

  • Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
  • Lead the evolution and integration of the Programme Management function to drive enhanced connection and operational efficiencies
  • Coach and mentor the project management team to be high performing and motivated to do their best work
  • Responsible for the career progression of the project team and will work to ensure that the team continue to develop and maintain their professional qualifications
  • Implement strong governance and reporting for the programme management activities that meets the needs of internal stakeholders and clients requirements
