Job Responsibility
Approve manufacturing plans and budgets in line with estimated market needs and ensure that production capacity, equipment, and labor are available and utilized to achieve optimal performance and meet foreseeable additional demands
Verify production compliance to meet scheduled delivery dates and optimize waste, downtime, and inventory levels
Monitor and control key pre-production and final assembly performance indicators in the areas of safety, quality, and production in accordance with company requirements
Oversee production and unit costs
facilitate cost-reduction measures regarding production, manufacturing, and maintenance processes in collaboration with other managers, suppliers, and customers
Find solutions to production problems, liaising with other internal departments as needed. Ensure minimal disruption to customer deliveries
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and be proactive in fostering a safe work environment
Support and participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize equipment and processes
Support the recruitment, training, and development of your team, and drive its growth in both size and quality to meet current and future needs
Design methods to maintain or increase production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality, and safety
Responsible for the effective management of environmental aspects in the production area in accordance with Brose standards to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements
Identifies potential and then supports the professional development of staff
Collaborate on the Environmental Management System in accordance with the environmental roles and responsibilities matrix
Requirements
Minimum 5 years on similar position in automotive industry mandatory
