Job Responsibility:

Own the end‑to‑end billing architecture: design, build, and maintain integrations with payment gateways, subscription engines, and vendor services
Lead recurring payments, routing, and PCI‑compliant transaction flows – deciding what to build in‑house vs. leverage vendors
Develop advanced analytics and reporting to model complex billing economics and optimize monetization performance
Define and manage processes for billing events, error handling, retries, refunds, and reconciliations
Work cross‑functionally with engineering, security, finance, and external vendors to ensure reliability and compliance

Requirements:

3+ years building or managing billing systems
Solid hands-on experience integrating with payment gateways and subscription vendors
Ensuring PCI-DSS compliance
Strong analytical mindset – able to model billing economics, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations
Proven track record balancing build vs. buy decisions
Experience managing vendor relationships
Excellent collaborative skills: able to communicate complex technical concepts to finance, security, and vendor teams
