As Head of Product at Hapana, you’ll lead and grow the product team with a strong focus on people leadership, operating rhythm and high-quality delivery. You’ll be accountable for how the product function runs day to day: how work is prioritised, how decisions are made, how teams collaborate and how outcomes are delivered and measured. This role partners closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing to ensure the team executes predictably, learns quickly and continuously improves the platform based on customer needs and business priorities.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach and develop the product team through clear expectations, regular 1:1s, feedback and performance conversations
Build a high-performing team by hiring well, onboarding effectively and creating growth paths for Product Managers, Enablement and UI/UX Designer capability as needed
Create a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement where priorities are clear and commitments are met
Establish standards for product craft (discovery practices, PRDs, acceptance criteria, release readiness, stakeholder comms) to lift consistency across the team
Own the product function’s delivery rhythm: intake, prioritisation, planning, execution tracking and retrospectives
Turn company goals into a manageable roadmap with clear scope, sequencing, dependencies and trade-offs
Partner with Engineering to ensure requirements are actionable, scope is controlled, risks are surfaced early and delivery remains on track
Ensure launches are operationally ready: clear ownership, enablement plans, internal comms, training materials, and coordinated release execution
Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate product discovery and delivery, synthesising customer and market insights, improving documentation, communication, supporting data-informed prioritisation and decision-making
Build and continuously improve scalable product management processes and frameworks (Agile ways of working, documentation, decision logs, prioritisation, and quality gates)
Establish clear governance for prioritisation and resource allocation so investment is transparent and aligned to impact
Set up strong feedback loops with Customer Success and Support so insights are captured, triaged, and acted on consistently
Improve cross-functional handoffs (Product ↔ Engineering ↔ CS ↔ Sales/Marketing), reducing rework and ensuring clarity from discovery through delivery
Define, track and report on key product KPIs (engagement, adoption, retention and outcome-based measures)
Create consistent reporting on delivery health (progress, risks, dependencies) and product performance (what shipped, what changed, what improved)
Use data and customer feedback to drive iteration, improve usability and inform prioritisation decisions
Maintain a strong customer signal through structured discovery, usability testing, and post-launch reviews
Partner with leaders across the company to align priorities, communicate trade-offs and keep the organisation informed on delivery and outcomes
Co-own go-to-market execution with Marketing and Sales leaders ensuring readiness, aligned messaging and coordinated launches
Facilitate stakeholder alignment through regular planning sessions, steering check-ins, and clear escalation paths when priorities conflict
AI-savvy product leadership: Identifies and delivers practical AI-driven capabilities that improve engagement, retention, and operational efficiency for Hapana customers
Strong technical fluency: Works effectively with engineering and data teams to make sound architectural trade-offs and ship scalable, high-quality solutions
Impact over hype mindset: Applies AI selectively and responsibly, focusing on measurable customer value, performance, and long-term maintainability
Requirements:
6+ years’ experience in product management
3+ years leading teams in a SaaS environment
Demonstrated experience hiring, coaching and developing Product Managers and building a strong team culture
