Job Description

Atlassian is looking for a strategic product marketer to lead the PMM team for Trello. Trello is a powerful, delightful productivity tool that is beloved by many, with tens of millions of users in over 150 countries. The product is in the early days of a major pivot and upgrade, shifting from a product designed for project management to an experience optimized for individual productivity in the age of AI. The role involves developing and refining messaging, shaping the product roadmap, implementing go-to-market strategies, monitoring market trends, wearing multiple hats, and leading a team of product marketers.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and refine messaging that communicates the new Trello’s value to existing and prospective customers
  • Help shape the future of the product roadmap
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies
  • Monitor the market, competitors, and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities
  • Wear many hats, from Core PMM to sales enablement, from content development to community-led growth
  • Lead a small team of talented product marketers by providing mentorship, setting goals, prioritizing/deprioritizing work, and promoting career growth

Requirements

  • At least 8 years in product marketing (mix of B2C and B2B preferred), or similar field
  • Strong storyteller with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Cross-functional aptitude with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable going from 0 → 1 in a start-up like atmosphere within a larger organization
  • Able to see the forest for the trees and identify the biggest opportunities
  • Known for being able to do more with less, delivering high quality work quickly without a lot of cycles or reliance on agency resources
  • At least 2 years managing people, experienced at coaching and delegating to team members
