Job Description

Artemest is looking for a sharp, driven Head of Product to own the full product experience across a dual B2B and B2C business, serving both end consumers and a global community of interior design professionals. The role sits at the intersection of a modern, best-in-class tech stack — headless Shopify with a Next.js frontend, Salesforce, and SAP — and a genuinely unique operational challenge: managing a proprietary platform that connects over 1,000 of Italy's finest artisans to an international market.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and shape the product strategy and roadmap, translating a broad vision into a clear, prioritized development plan shared with founders, management and engineering teams
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from business stakeholders, development team and customers to continuously improve both the shopping experience - across consumer and trade channels – and the supplier experience, evolving the proprietary vendor platform
  • Own the Product Backlog and maintain an active role in sprint refinement, keeping delivery on track and scope creep in check
  • Manage third-party tech supplier relationships, bringing structure and accountability to vendor coordination
  • Interface with Tech and Business counterparts to manage scope changes, mediate competing priorities, and protect the team's ability to deliver
  • Lead and develop a small product team (Product Owner and QA), ensuring high standards across user stories, design review, and pre-release testing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a mandatory background in e-commerce
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders — including founders and cross-functional leadership — with clarity, confidence, and the ability to push back when needed
  • Entrepreneurial attitude: self-starter, result-oriented, comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where individual contribution matters
  • Strong data fluency
  • able to synthesize information independently and make sound prioritization decisions
  • Practical experience using AI tools to meaningfully improve product workflows and accelerate delivery
  • Ability to lead group discussions, illustrate complex solutions, and communicate a product vision credibly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High bar for quality across the full product lifecycle: user stories, UX review, technical approaches, and QA
  • Ability to build wireframes and mockups with a bias toward simplicity
  • Good technical awareness and familiarity with agile methodologies
  • proficient with Jira or equivalent
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Italian
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Bologna

What we offer

  • Permanent contract
  • Professional growth and salary review based on skills’ improvement
  • Being part of an internal technology team, always focused on quality and on adopting the most innovative technologies
  • Working in an international context
  • Training and updating through the participation at IT events and conferences
  • Free coffee, fruit & water
  • Positive workplace
  • Entrepreneurial mentality
  • Innovative and tech-oriented environment
