Job Description:

As the Head of Pricing and Product at Allianz Direct France, you will oversee underwriting activities and ensure alignment with Allianz Direct’s strategy and Group requirements. Reporting to the Chief Country Officer, with a matrix reporting line to the Allianz Direct CUO, you will lead a team of product, underwriting, and pricing specialists. Your mission is to underwrite profitable business in P&C Car, Home, and Travel while ensuring our products meet customer needs and remain competitive in the direct market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee underwriting activities and ensure alignment with Allianz Direct’s strategy and Group requirements

  • Streamline and harmonize processes
  • Play an active role in platform integration
  • Deliver positive economic outcomes for both New Business and Renewal portfolios

  • Turn around the Luko and Eurofil portfolios towards profitable growth

Requirements:

  • Strong command of pricing techniques, product analysis, and technical competitor benchmarking
  • Solid understanding of underwriting in relevant lines of business
  • Proven ability to interpret complex data
  • Demonstrated success leading a pricing function in French P&C insurance, ideally within direct insurance (5–7 years)
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 5+ colleagues (3–5 years)
  • Proven experience working in an international environment (1–3 years)
  • MSc/MA in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related discipline (relevant certification required)
  • Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken)
