Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and shape procurement strategy for IT and Professional Services
  • Secure the best value services for Travelodge, ensuring they consistently meet required quality standards and are fit for their intended purpose
  • Build strong internal customer partnerships
  • Create a more capable, simpler, flexible and more agile commercial sourcing process
  • Work closely with Head of Supplier Relationship Management to optimise supplier performance and leverage innovation to drive ongoing operational and supply chain excellence and sustainable value creation
  • Enhance existing category strategies, plans, and pipeline, establishing success metrics
  • Take commercial ownership to develop, negotiate, and agree upon necessary contractual arrangements, KPIs, and SLAs with all stakeholders
  • Optimise the utilisation of all eProcurement tools and repositories to ensure effective document retention, knowledge management, the capture of lessons learned, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Experienced Head of Procurement with a proven track record in IT and professional services
  • Preferably with a degree or equivalent education
