Job Description:

The role involves leading the Individual Life Pricing and ORSO teams, developing pricing strategies for life insurance products, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include optimizing product offerings, fostering team development, managing stakeholder relationships, and aligning work with HSBC's vision. The role is critical to driving profitability, growth, and market share while supporting organizational management initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Develop pricing models, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product offerings and financial targets
Provide optimal and forward-looking product pricing solutions, with customer values and business strategy considerations
Lead the business management of ORSO schemes to ensure profitability and growth
Collaborate with Operations to administer ORSO schemes and service customers
Support Chief Product and Inforce Officer in management initiatives
Define integrated pricing strategies for individual life products and ORSO
Manage profitability of product and ORSO portfolios and provide recommendations
Ensure pricing reflects market conditions and competitive landscape
Contribute to product/ORSO design and positioning, competitive analysis, and sales incentive design.

Requirements:

Ability to evaluate pricing in the context of market competitiveness, customer preferences, sales trends and the broader market conditions
Ability to distil complex business and customer environment into simple, strategically sound and insight led stories
Demonstrated ability to think strategically balanced with practical day-to-day execution
Demonstrated negotiation, leadership and problem solving skills
Demonstrated initiative, autonomy and commitment to process improvements
Project management experience, organizational skills and ability to think innovatively
Demonstrated ability to manage and influence senior level stakeholders
Demonstrating ability to identify strategic needs based solutions both now and in the future

Experience and evidence of working within teams over multiple sites in a highly matrixed organization
