Job Description

Set public relations priorities aligned with national tourism objectives and market needs. Lead the development and delivery of PR strategies across priority markets. Manage PR agencies and ensure consistent messaging and timely execution. Ensure media relations, press engagement, and reputation management activities. Coordinate closely with Brand, Digital, and Content teams to ensure message alignment. Monitor media coverage and sentiment to identify risks, barriers and opportunities. Ensure readiness and coordination for crisis communication when required. Advise leadership on reputation risks, communication priorities, and stakeholder engagement. Identify and evaluate strategic events, sponsorships, and partnership opportunities that support tourism communication objectives and destination visibility. Lead the management and negotiation of event partnerships and sponsorship agreements in coordination with relevant stakeholders and partners. Ensure that sponsored events and partnerships deliver strong communication value, media exposure, and alignment with the destination brand. Coordinate event communication, PR visibility, and stakeholder engagement related to sponsored events and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Events and PR
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English is a must
