As part of the PR & Influence team Reporting to our Global PR Director in Paris, your main mission is to develop the brand's awareness and image by collaborating with the press and influencers in the South Korean market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement tailored PR strategies for Koreans to strengthen brand awareness and perception
  • Align PR initiatives with HQ objectives to maximize impact and visibility
  • Leverage strong business knowledge of influencer marketing in Korea to identify and collaborate with influencers, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), stylists and celebrities
  • Develop relationships with celebrity agencies and negotiate ambassador contracts and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and reach
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers across the region
  • Secure positive media coverage through strategic pitching and media outreach efforts
  • Develop contacts with press (print and digital)
  • Plan and execute PR events
  • Organize store receptions and other events to engage with key stakeholders and enhance brand presence
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve PR strategies and outcomes
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the PR team to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Coordinate with the global PR team in Paris to maintain consistent messaging and strategy
  • Manage the PR budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
  • Allocate resources strategically to maximize impact and ROI
  • Flexibility to travel to Polène’s HQ in Paris

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar position in public relations within the fashion industry
  • Proven experience in fashion PR roles
  • Strong network of media contacts and influencers in the region
  • Good knowledge of the different social media platforms and PR analytic tools and softwares
  • Experience in celebrity agency management and ambassador contract negotiation is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective PR campaigns
