Job Description:

Head of Portfolio Delivery and Change role at Bibby Financial Services. This is a hands-on leadership role to rebuild how transformation is delivered, shape the mandate, governance, budget and operating rhythm of the transformation portfolio, design and grow a high-performing delivery team, and have a massive impact on both culture and commercial outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the portfolio of transformation activity, typically spanning 10-15 concurrent initiatives
  • Ensure value teams are delivering against clear outcomes
  • Manage programme-level risks, dependencies and trade-offs across the portfolio
  • Redesign and embed portfolio governance that enables speed, not bureaucracy
  • Establish and lead Agile delivery practices, including PI planning and portfolio-level cadence
  • Create a common language for Agile across BFS, supported by coaching and training
  • Act as an Agile coach to leaders and delivery teams
  • Work closely with Finance to manage budgets, investment decisions and financial governance
  • Define, track and communicate the benefits being realised from delivery teams
  • Ensure change is embedded, adopted and sustained within BAU

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership in portfolio and programme delivery, including benefits tracking, business case development, prioritisation, budget and risk management
  • Deep expertise in Agile delivery, PI planning and change management frameworks
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate vision into executable delivery plans
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including ELT engagement
  • Experience coaching teams and building delivery capability
