Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional technology leader to serve as Head of Platforms, driving the strategic vision and execution of our core technology infrastructure that powers wealth management solutions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients globally. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of wealth technology at one of the world’s leading financial institutions.

Job Responsibility:

Define and execute the technology platform strategy, driving digital transformation and innovation to achieve business objectives
partner with business leaders to translate needs into scalable technology solutions
oversee engineering teams responsible for core platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
drive continuous improvement in system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency
lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing technology team
foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence to attract and retain top talent
collaborate with business leaders, technology partners, and stakeholders across the organization
communicate technology strategy and progress, and build strong partnerships

Requirements:

15+ years of technology leadership experience with at least 8 years in senior management roles
10+ years of experience in financial services technology
proven track record of leading large, complex technology organizations (100+ people), in addition to managing distributed teams across multiple geographic locations
strong background in platform engineering, enterprise architecture, or similar domains
deep understanding of wealth management, private banking, or investment management business models
experience with trading systems, portfolio management platforms, or client-facing wealth technology
knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services (SEC, FINRA, GDPR, etc.)
experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern infrastructure patterns
knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
understanding of data architecture, analytics platforms, and real-time processing
