Job Description

We are looking for experienced and motivated Head of Personal Development to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £47,469 – £55,001 per annum. Job Responsibility

  • To operationally manage the Personal Development Team and lead the tutorial curriculum, fostering personal growth, resilience and engagement across the student body
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to personal development that caters to the unique needs of 16-18-year-olds, adult learners, apprentices and students with High Needs
  • Strategic planning and operational delivery of personal development programs that support students' holistic well-being and career readiness

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Coaching/Mentoring Qualification
  • English and Maths qualifications at a minimum of level 2 / GCSE (9-4 or A* to C)
  • A willingness to undertake continuous professional learning
  • Proven experience in curriculum leadership, ideally within a personal development or pastoral care context
  • Experience of managing a team within an educational or pastoral setting, with a track record of driving high standards
  • Demonstrated success in supporting diverse learner populations in a further education setting
