We’re looking for a passionate Head of People to build and lead the future of our team at Angle. As the Head of People, you will be responsible for designing and scaling the programs, processes, and culture that enable our team to thrive. You will lead all aspects of HR, people and talent operations, employee experience, and organizational development to support the company’s growth, ensuring that Angle Health is an employer of choice for top talent. Job Responsibility:
Design and execute people strategies that align with Angle Health’s mission, values, and growth plans
Lead talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and onboard exceptional talent across technical, product, and operational roles
Cultivate a collaborative, trusting, and engaging work environment that supports employee well-being, drives higher employee engagement, talent development & performance
Implement scaling HR processes, compensation and benefits programs, performance management systems, compliance, and onboarding processes
Partner with executive leadership to shape company policies, culture, and strategic HR initiatives, working directly with the co-founders, CEO, President, and executive team on all people matters, both strategic and tactical
Lead culture and engagement, creating programs and rituals that strengthen belonging, recognition, and feedback across our team
Build and lead a small high impact, high-performing People team that can support fast-paced growth
Lead programs across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, feedback, engagement, and leadership development
Manage vendors and programs for benefits, compensation, and total rewards
Handle complex employee relations and compliance matters.
Requirements:
Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles within founder-led organizations with a culture of performance
high-growth technology companies and boutique investment banking or private equity firms preferred
Successfully designed, implemented, and scaled core People functions, including talent, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, total rewards, employee relations, and HR compliance
Willingness and ability to be hands-on with HRIS, ATS, analytics, and other tools to run data-informed People operations
Strong communication and influence
able to partner with leaders across all levels
The ability to thrive in ambiguity and a passion for building programs, processes, and systems from the ground up
A thoughtful and people-first mentality: high emotional intelligence, empathy, and a focus on continuous improvement
This is an in-person role based in New York City.
