Job Description

Are you an experienced and strategic Head of People & HR to lead the people function at a dynamic and values-driven professional services firm. This is a senior leadership role focused on shaping and delivering a progressive HR strategy that supports a high-performing, inclusive culture and the ongoing growth of the firm.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and execute a people-first HR strategy aligned with the firm’s business goals
  • Advise senior leadership on talent, culture, organisational design, and change management
  • Oversee recruitment, retention, performance management, and employee development
  • Champion DEI, wellbeing, employee engagement, and a collaborative firm-wide culture
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, and relevant regulatory standards
  • Use HR data and analytics to support continuous improvement and strategic decisions

Requirements

  • Senior HR leadership experience, ideally in legal or professional services
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Track record of influencing at senior level and managing change effectively
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience) with strong interpersonal and coaching skills
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on, pragmatic approach
