This is a newly created, commercially focused role responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of partnerships, sponsored programmes and bespoke interventions that generate revenue and expand the organisation’s impact.

Requirements
At least three years’ experience in a senior partnerships, business development, commercial or external affairs role, with a track record of identifying and closing commercial agreements
Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering bespoke programmes, sponsored events or collaborative interventions in a policy, professional services or mission-driven context
Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with senior leaders across sectors, including government departments and large private sector organisations
Experience of managing a commercial pipeline, meeting revenue targets and reporting on financial performance
Interest in UK public sector, business and civil society landscape and cross-sector policy environment
Experience of managing or developing a small team
Nice to have
Experience of developing innovative programme models or income diversification strategies in a not-for-profit or membership context
Familiarity with the UK public sector, business and civil society landscape and cross-sector policy environment
Experience of working alongside a membership or account management function in a complementary commercial role
