Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and driven leader to head the DACH Business Development team at Awin. The team is responsible for driving new business growth while ensuring an outstanding client service experience. As a central pillar of the organization, the DACH Business Development team acts as a high-level consulting partner to our client services teams, providing expert guidance across key areas that shape and accelerate the business. In this leadership role, you will oversee interdisciplinary and cross-departmental initiatives, setting the direction for complex projects and ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. You will foster a dynamic, collaborative environment and work closely with stakeholders across the organization. This position offers full ownership of the project and initiative lifecycle while shaping the future growth of the DACH region.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of experts across diverse projects, fostering growth and development of each team member
  • Lead and oversee the development and execution of (cross-departmental) projects, ensuring effective governance of project plans, timelines, and key documentation
  • Define and drive the commercial strategy for promoting and positioning Awin products to publishers and strategic partners
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact business development opportunities aligned with regional and company-wide objectives
  • Foster a strong customer-centric mindset, enabling the team to build trust, deeply understand client needs, and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions
  • Drive global stakeholder management and collaboration, ensuring strong alignment and effective partnerships across teams and markets

Requirements

  • Leadership experience, with a proven ability to guide and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of the eCommerce landscape, preferably with many years experience in performance marketing
  • Thrive in fast-paced, agile environments and have a continuous drive to optimize processes and improve efficiency
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to challenges and decision-making
  • Highly customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent client experiences and satisfaction
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, enabling you to manage multiple initiatives effectively
