Job Description:

Head of Organisational Change role for the Enterprise Foundations technology-enabled transformation programme at British Heart Foundation. A 9-12 month fixed term contract covering family leave.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and provide organisational change, organisational development and organisational design expertise for the Enterprise Foundations transformation programme
  • Liaise closely with the Business Integrator on change readiness and change planning
  • Represent the voice of BHF
  • Ensure change, engagement, communications and training activities are designed appropriately, properly resourced and evolve organisational culture
  • Have responsibility for the end-to-end change life cycle
  • Lead the people side of change connected to Enterprise Foundations, including changes to ways of working and cultural change
  • Work with stakeholders to solve complex challenges, guiding and influencing them through critical transformation
  • Provide change leadership to enable stakeholders to achieve transformation goals and strategic objectives
  • Lead on organisational design and operating model change connected to Enterprise Foundations
  • Ensure organisational design is resourced appropriately and linked to other organisational design work across BHF
  • Liaise with Transformation Directors, Head of Organisational Change, Head of Internal Communications, People Business Partners and the team
  • Support People Experience, Technology strategy and the delivery of BHF’s strategy to 2030

Requirements:

  • Previous experience influencing stakeholders and gaining buy-in to change, communication and engagement activities
  • Ability to create and implement change plans tailored to the needs of Enterprise Foundations
  • Post Graduate qualification in organisational change/business change/behaviour, or equivalent experience
  • Previous knowledge and application of change models and organisational design principles
  • Ability to identify cultural shift needed and translate into interventions
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Passion for solving complex business challenges
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise mature judgement
  • Project management experience
  • Previous experience of developing and implementing organisational design programmes
  • Experience of supporting culture change programmes that adopt new ways of working
