Are you an experienced senior leader within Health and Social Care looking for an opportunity to shape strategy, lead high-performing teams, and make a real difference to people's lives? We are seeking an ambitious and values-driven Head of Operations to join our Executive Management Team. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing services supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, dementia, and complex needs across the West Midlands.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and inspire Area Managers and operational teams across multiple locations
  • Drive quality, compliance, safeguarding, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure services meet CQC, contractual, statutory, and legislative requirements
  • Manage operational performance, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, families, and stakeholders
  • Support organisational growth, development, and business planning
  • Contribute at Executive and Board level, providing operational insight and leadership
  • Promote a positive, person-centred culture focused on achieving exceptional outcomes

Requirements

  • Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, Leadership & Management, or equivalent. Essential
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within the care sector
  • Significant senior management experience within Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, Supported Living, or Complex Care services
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
  • Proven experience managing budgets, operational performance, and large teams
  • Experience working with commissioners, local authorities, and external stakeholders
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the region
