Job Description:

As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of Budbee in the Benelux. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will combine strategic oversight with active involvement in operational execution. You will lead, develop, and inspire teams across logistics, terminals, and last-mile delivery while continuously improving processes and performance. You will play a critical role in both strategic planning and day-to-day operational decision-making, ensuring high standards of delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and oversee all Benelux operations, including terminals, last-mile delivery, and logistics teams
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and make informed decisions to optimize operational performance
  • Collaborate with other European markets and share best practices
  • Collaborate with Product Teams at Instabee HQ to drive & implement innovations in the Benelux market
  • Lead, mentor, and manage teams, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and tools
  • Take ownership of operational challenges and ensure they are resolved efficiently
  • Support growth initiatives, including scaling new terminals, launching new routes, and expanding service offerings

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of proven experience in e-commerce logistics and operations, including terminal management, coordination with logistics providers, and technology-driven process optimization
  • Hands-on leader who actively engages with operations and teams to ensure delivery excellence
  • Strong people management skills – able to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and implement change effectively
  • Experience in Senior Management Teams, with exposure to both strategic planning and operational execution
  • Proficient in analytics and data-driven decision making, with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive operational improvements
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
  • Strong business acumen – understands the broader business implications of operational decisions
  • Experience in the Dutch market is a strong plus
  • experience in other European markets is also valuable
  • Fluent in English
  • Dutch language skills are highly appreciated and considered a strong bonus
  • Decisive, straightforward, and able to balance strategic leadership with operational oversight
