Job Description:

They are looking for talented individuals who can oversee day-to-day operations, facilities management, and maintain the asset's value. Responsibilities include managing building structures and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating vendors and service providers, and preparing budgets. Job Responsibility:

Oversee the day-to-day operations and facilities management of the mall
Maintain the asset's value by controlling operating costs and ensuring timely, optimal operational support for tenants
Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality services are delivered at the right cost
Coordinate with third-party service providers for M&E maintenance, security, cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and other essential services
Manage the maintenance of building structures and equipment (e.g., lifts, generators, plumbing, water supply, HVAC systems, chillers, air conditioners, CCTV) in collaboration with technicians and service providers
Oversee soft services to ensure high standards in housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, and waste management
Manage hard services to ensure the building, facilities, and equipment are well-maintained and operational
Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., TNB, DOSH, JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) for approvals, certifications, utility services, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Ensure all mechanical and electrical installations (e.g., escalators, elevators, BAS, fire alarm systems, firefighting systems, lighting) are safe, legal, and compliant with regulatory standards
Prepare and manage budgets for operational and capital expenditures.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Property/Real Estate Management, Engineering, or a related field
5–10 years of experience in facilities and building operations management within a retail mall environment
Proven track record in an operations management role
strong M&E knowledge and skills are key priorities
Strong communication skills with demonstrated leadership qualities
Solid understanding of local regulations related to mall operations and building management
Proficient in handling both technical issues and related documentation.
