Job Description:

They are looking for talented individuals who can oversee day-to-day operations, facilities management, and maintain the asset's value. Responsibilities include managing building structures and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating vendors and service providers, and preparing budgets. Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and facilities management of the mall
  • Maintain the asset's value by controlling operating costs and ensuring timely, optimal operational support for tenants
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality services are delivered at the right cost
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers for M&E maintenance, security, cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and other essential services
  • Manage the maintenance of building structures and equipment (e.g., lifts, generators, plumbing, water supply, HVAC systems, chillers, air conditioners, CCTV) in collaboration with technicians and service providers
  • Oversee soft services to ensure high standards in housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, and waste management
  • Manage hard services to ensure the building, facilities, and equipment are well-maintained and operational
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., TNB, DOSH, JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) for approvals, certifications, utility services, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Ensure all mechanical and electrical installations (e.g., escalators, elevators, BAS, fire alarm systems, firefighting systems, lighting) are safe, legal, and compliant with regulatory standards
  • Prepare and manage budgets for operational and capital expenditures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Property/Real Estate Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in facilities and building operations management within a retail mall environment
  • Proven track record in an operations management role
  • strong M&E knowledge and skills are key priorities
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Solid understanding of local regulations related to mall operations and building management
  • Proficient in handling both technical issues and related documentation.
