Job Description:

Hang Seng Bank is seeking a high calibre professional to join as Head of Operation Analytics. The role involves leading analytics strategies, teams, and innovations to enhance operational efficiency, risk management, and process optimization for WPB. The position also requires experience in analytics solutioning, people management, cloud environments, and Python.

Job Responsibility:

Lead development and implementation of analytics strategies and solutions to enhance WPB operational efficiency, risk management and improve customer outcome
Define road map aligned with business objectives
Lead high performing, onshore and offshore team of data & analytics professionals and develop effective working model
Partner with senior leadership and collaborate with different partners to prioritize analytics initiatives
Analyze WPB customer, transaction, and process data to develop and deploy analytics solutions including ad-hoc analysis, self-serve visualization, automated data solutions, machine learning and AI
Provide timely dashboards to track key operational processes and translate data to actionable insights for stakeholders
Design and deploy guidelines and processes to integrate solutions into WPB operation processes
Evaluate and implement tools to uplift modern data, visualization, and AI capabilities
Collaborate and influence a wide range of partners including technology, risk and control owners, compliance and senior management
Ensure analytics solutions are compliant with regulations and internal policies

Requirements:

University degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information System or other related discipline
Minimum 15 years' banking experience in data analytics
Excellent team management, strong organizational, problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication, experience in managing broad stakeholders and cross-functional project / teams, and strong influential & presentation skills
Experience in agile working & project delivery, comfortable with working in fast-changing and complex environment
Ability to take smart risk, define structure and clear approach / solution under ambiguous circumstance
Self-motivated professional, strong analytics mindset, track record of analytics solutioning, innovation and transformation for impactful business results
Proven track record of people management
Experience in Python, SQL/BigQuery, Tableau/QlikSense/Looker studio a plus
Hands-on experience on cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure a plus
