Job Description

The Head of OEM Sales will own and drive Bolt.Earth's OEM business strategy across India. This role will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with electric vehicle manufacturers across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and emerging mobility segments. The ideal candidate brings deep automotive industry experience, strong OEM relationships, a proven track record in enterprise sales, and the ability to convert strategic partnerships into long-term business growth. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct visibility to the executive leadership team and significant influence on the company's growth trajectory.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the complete OEM sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to partnership closure
  • Develop and execute the OEM growth strategy across all vehicle segments
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across OEM organizations, including leadership, procurement, business, product, and strategy teams
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that accelerate charger adoption and network growth
  • Drive revenue growth through long-term commercial partnerships and strategic alliances
  • Act as the primary business owner for key OEM relationships
  • Lead commercial negotiations, partnership structuring, pricing discussions, and contract execution
  • Develop account growth plans and drive expansion opportunities within existing OEM partnerships
  • Conduct regular business reviews and ensure long-term partner success
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Deployment, Finance, and Marketing teams to deliver partnership commitments
  • Translate OEM requirements into actionable internal initiatives
  • Ensure seamless execution of commercial agreements and strategic programs
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing OEM sales and partnerships team
  • Establish sales processes, forecasting frameworks, and account management for best practices
  • Drive a performance-oriented culture focused on growth, accountability, and execution of excellence

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Automotive OEM Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Key Account Management, Business Development, or Enterprise Sales
  • Proven experience working with automotive OEMs, EV manufacturers, Tier-1 suppliers, mobility companies, or related industries
  • Strong network across OEM leadership, procurement, business development, and program management functions
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing large enterprise accounts and strategic partnerships
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiations and deal structuring
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience leading teams and scaling business functions
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India
