Job Description:

Head of Music – Kensington & Chelsea Secondary School – Permanent Contract. An ‘Outstanding’ rated Secondary school located in the heart of Kensington & Chelsea is looking for a passionate and driven Head of Music to lead and support its new state-of-the-art music department. The role includes leading a team of two music teachers, designing diverse curricula, and participating in enrichment activities.

Job Responsibility:

Leading a team of two teachers (KS3-KS5)
Managing personalities within the Music Department
Helping to design a diverse curriculum to meet the cohorts’ needs

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS
‘Outstanding’ lesson observation
Strong and confident knowledge of the Music curriculum
Competent and passionate musician
Be passionate about supporting both pupils and peer staff
