Job Description:

Head of Music – Outstanding Brent School – September 2025: An exceptional secondary school in Brent is searching for a Head of Music to join their team on a permanent basis in September. You will lead high-quality Music teaching and learning across KS3-KS5, collaborate on whole-school performances with the Head of Performing Arts (Drama), and benefit from state-of-the-art music suites and dedicated students.

Job Responsibility:

teaching and leading KS3-KS5 Music
leading a team of 4 including a trainee teacher, ECT2 and experienced Music Teacher

Requirements:

Qualified Music Teacher with UK QTS
experience teaching in an inner city school beneficial
minimum three years experience teaching Music
previous TLR/responsibility not essential
strong teacher that can lead and model with outstanding practice
multiskilled musician

Nice to have:

experience teaching in an inner city school beneficial
