Job Description:

A popular, high-performing Secondary School in Croydon are on the hunt for a Head of MFL (French and Spanish) to lead and teach in their growing team in September 2025. The MFL department at this school is vibrant and exciting, achieving some fantastic results in both GCSE and A-Level. Both French and Spanish have proven to be popular choices each year for students.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
  • Managing a fantastic team of MFL Teachers
  • Teaching KS5, BTEC and GCSE year groups

Requirements:

  • Must have UK QTS
  • Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must have an MFL or related Degree
  • Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
  • Must be able to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and students
