Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for analysing and interpreting economic developments and key trends in equity markets impacting covered stocks/sector and providing timely views for internal/external clients. The role encompasses leading the Mexico equity research team, mentoring juniors, producing thematic and actionable research, ensuring consistent updates, and integrating ESG assessments into research. A critical aspect of the role involves maintaining high ethical standards when advising clients and contributing actively to business targets.

Job Responsibility:

Analyse stocks and industries on a local/regional and global basis
maintain high quality research products
interact with company managements and investors
actively engage with clients through meetings/calls
provide best-in-class independent and insightful research
proactively improve client service
contribute to external survey rankings
provide investor access
recruit, train and retain team members
manage divisional business targets.

Requirements:

Research coverage of requisite stocks as assigned by the Research Management
maintain a consistent flow of high quality actionable research
produce independent research which is clear, coherent and non-consensual
drive and contribute to global products as required
actively track and highlight environment, social, governance and sustainability issues
proactively communicate research views to internal and external clients
engage with clients through meetings/calls to advise clients whether to buy/sell or hold
establish credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders
strong understanding of one or more Equity sectors
overlay analytical skills with full understanding of dynamics at play within their sector
adhere to Equity Analyst Scorecard Metrics
recruit, train and retain team members
develop inclusive culture and practices.
