Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading CDMO specialising in cell and gene therapy, who is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing to lead brand, demand generation, and strategic marketing initiatives from their US headquarters.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness and drive demand for the company’s cell and gene therapy CDMO services
Lead all aspects of marketing including brand positioning, digital marketing, content strategy, product/service marketing, and event engagement
Collaborate closely with commercial, business development, and scientific leadership to align marketing initiatives with growth objectives and market needs
Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and measurable performance
Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and product offering enhancements
Drive strategic campaigns that support pipeline generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention across biotech, pharma, and academic segments
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership platforms
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc)
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in senior marketing roles within biotech, life sciences, CDMO/CDx, or related industries
Demonstrated success developing and executing commercial marketing strategies that drive measurable growth and brand visibility
Strong understanding of the cell and gene therapy landscape, with the ability to translate complex scientific value into compelling marketing narratives
Experience managing cross-functional teams and external agencies, with excellent leadership and communication skills
Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics to inform strategy and optimise campaign performance
Based in California, USA, with flexibility for travel as required
