As the Head of Marketing, Hong Kong, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end marketing strategy, serving as the bridge between the bank’s sophisticated product suite and its institutional client base.
Job Responsibility:
Partner directly with key stakeholders to design marketing blueprints that drive revenue and align with Group-wide growth targets
Spearhead the implementation of marketing plans across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, positioning the bank as the premier choice for regional corporate clients
Elevate the bank’s profile through high-impact thought leadership, strategic media partnerships, and exclusive C-suite sponsorship platforms
Oversee the marketing budget, managing external agency relationships for top-tier content development and bespoke event execution
Navigate the digital and social media landscape in HK/GBA to modernise how the bank engages with institutional investors and corporate treasurers
Establish rigorous tracking and analytics to measure the effectiveness of all initiatives, presenting data-driven insights to the executive committee
Lead, inspire, and develop a small team of marketing professionals, ensuring a high standard of delivery and career progression
Requirements:
Roughly 10+ years of experience within Banking, Consultancy, or Investment Banking
A track record in B2B marketing for professional services is essential
Exceptional understanding of the Hong Kong and GBA markets, including the regulatory environment and the competitive landscape
Fluency in English and Cantonese is mandatory
Mandarin is highly advantageous given the GBA focus & wider team structure
Superior negotiation and influencing skills, with the "gravitas" to interface directly with external institutional clients and internal C-suite stakeholders
Strong attention to detail, a data-led mindset for ROI tracking, and proficiency in modern marketing technology suites
Ability to work autonomously in a local lead capacity while adhering to global brand standards and collaborating with international colleagues
