Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Market Intelligence & Automation to own the discovery, structuring, and monitoring of AI market demand across search, competitors, PR, and influencers. This role is responsible for building a scalable, automated market intelligence system that continuously identifies new AI categories, keyword demand, competitive movements, and distribution opportunities — and translates them into clear inputs for SEO, paid funnels, and product launches. This is a full-ownership role, not a research assistant position. Core mission: Own and automate the AI market intelligence function so leadership always knows: which AI utilities users are searching for, which categories are emerging or accelerating, where to launch new funnels and content next, and how competitors, media, and influencers are moving.

Job Responsibility

  • Collect, structure, and maintain a complete universe of AI-related keywords
  • Cluster keywords by utility, intent, and funnel suitability (SEO vs. paid)
  • Translate keyword clusters into SEO plans and paid funnel opportunities
  • Research and categorize AI tools, use cases, and market segments
  • Perform competitive analysis across discovered AI categories
  • Research and maintain maps of AI-focused media outlets, publications, and influencers
  • Track competitor PR coverage, launches, and influencer activity
  • Build and maintain automated market-monitoring workflows in N8N
  • Replace manual research with automated discovery and monitoring systems
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT Deep Research, Claude, Manus, etc.) to accelerate research
  • Deliver structured, actionable market intelligence updates to Product, SEO, and UA teams

Requirements

  • Strong background in market research, market intelligence, or growth research
  • Hands-on experience with Google SEO and keyword research
  • Practical experience with Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs (or similar)
  • Experience building automated workflows in N8N
  • Strong competitive research and web analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (large datasets, clustering, scoring)
  • Confident power user of AI tools for research and analysis
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently

What we offer

  • Remote Work Environment
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid National Holidays
  • Company-provided MacBook
  • Flexible Independent Contractor Agreement
