Job Responsibility:
Strategic Advisory, provide comprehensive legal guidance and expert opinions to all business units and internal stakeholders
Transaction Management, lead the drafting and negotiation of complex asset acquisitions, investment term sheets, and sale and purchase agreements through to completion
Oversee the legal life-cycle of merger and acquisition projects, including share sale agreements and letters of offer
Commercial Contracts, manage a diverse portfolio of business-as-usual agreements, including financing, shareholder, subscription, and IT service contracts
Regional Expansion, develop legal frameworks for entering new markets, including entity formation, shareholding structures, and regulatory licensing
Compliance & Risk, manage group-wide matters related to data protection/privacy laws and the protection of intellectual property
Define and monitor performance standards (SLAs) for the legal team to ensure high-quality service delivery
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or its equivalent
Solid foundation in general corporate commercial advisory work
Proven track record in contract law with advanced skills in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
Familiarity with corporate transactions (M&A) and data privacy frameworks is highly valued
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide practical, risk-based evaluations to support business goals
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with and prioritise the needs of diverse internal partners
Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload within a fast-paced, evolving legal landscape
Nice to have:
