Job Responsibility

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Lab Technicians
  • Build capabilities aligned with global Ontex standards and best practices
  • Set clear priorities and ensure effective workload planning
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, ISO standards, and all safety regulations
  • Maintain an audit-ready laboratory, delivering zero major or critical findings
  • Oversee calibration programs and ensure accuracy of all lab equipment
  • Organize and optimize laboratory activities to support production and supply chain needs
  • Ensure raw material and finished product testing meets defined inspection plans
  • Own the product release process and support risk assessments for non-conforming materials
  • Monitor lab KPIs, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead root cause analysis for material or product deviations
  • Improve non-routine testing methods and laboratory processes
  • Ensure timely closure of non-conformities and action plans
  • Partner with teams across Production, R&D, Technical Services, Maintenance, Logistics, and Quality
  • Align with global Ontex laboratory standards and share best practices across sites

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical field
  • Chemistry/Chemical background preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, ideally within manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of Good Laboratory, Manufacturing, and Documentation Practices
  • Understanding of production processes and quality control systems
  • Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and MS Office tools
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence across teams
  • Proven organizational and prioritization skills
  • Team-oriented leader with strong people management capabilities
