A respected UK membership body is seeking an accomplished Head of Key Accounts & New Business Development to lead its most strategic employer relationships and drive commercial growth. This senior role oversees engagement with major professional services firms, large corporates and other priority employers, ensuring a coordinated, high‑quality experience for the organisation’s most influential clients.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver budgeted intake and market share growth across key client accounts
Lead strategy and delivery for new business development, including expanding the employer base for training and professional development programmes
Develop and execute engagement plans for the organisation’s largest and most strategically important employers
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across major firms and corporates
Identify and pursue opportunities to broaden the organisation’s service offering within key clients
Track and share insights to inform broader relationship strategy
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless, high‑quality client experience
Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of excellence
Requirements:
Extensive experience in B2B business development leadership and strategic account management
Strong commercial acumen with a track record in sales, negotiation and relationship growth
Skilled in influencing and engaging senior‑level stakeholders
Proven ability to lead teams to exceed targets and deliver high performance
Strong understanding of the professional services, accountancy or finance sector
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Chartered Accountant status advantageous but not essential
