Job Description:

T2M Resourcing are currently working with a growing facilities services business, recruiting for a Head of IT to join their senior leadership team. The business has multiple sites in the UK and field engineering teams nationwide. As Head of IT, you will develop the IT, cyber security, and transformation plan as well as working with internal teams to deliver against key objectives for the Group.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and deliver the information technology roadmap
  • Lead the IT change and transformation journey
  • Work closely with Managed Service Providers – including managing the relationship and reviewing periodically
  • Report to the senior leadership team on IT projects, risks, and future opportunities
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on IT and software application requirements
  • Support Project Managers on systems updates and rollouts
  • Identify new technologies to support the business in achieving its goals
  • Work with third-party suppliers to ensure fit for purpose, reliable services, and value
  • Manage the information technology budget
  • Monitor cyber security threats and put in place proactive responses

Requirements:

  • Degree or similar level qualification in Computing & IT, Cyber Security, or Business Information Systems
  • Experience leading the IT function of an engineering/facilities services business
  • Broad knowledge of information technology and security
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to present to board/exec level
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Management and leadership qualities, able to mentor and support other staff
  • UK driving license
