As Head of IT, you’ll take full ownership of IT operations across the UK and EU, delivering operation excellence, security maturity and building an IT function that scales with growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape, standardise and scale a multi-location IT environment that supports both office and warehouse operations. You’ll own IT across multiple countries in a business where technology drives growth. This isn’t steady-state, it’s scale, investment and evolution. As Head of IT, you’ll have real autonomy, board-level visibility and the platform to build a best-in-class function across UK and EU operations.
Job Responsibility:
Own IT operations, infrastructure, assets and service delivery across all locations
Lead/develop a team of IT Managers and distributed support teams
Standardise service levels and embed structured ITIL-based processes
Strengthen security posture across ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and NIST-aligned controls
Oversee network architecture including VLAN segmentation, WAN, WiFi, and HP/Aruba environments
Manage WatchGuard firewalls, endpoint management/MDM, and CCTV infrastructure
Drive full lifecycle IT asset management across hardware and software estates
Requirements:
Experience leading multi-site IT operations at scale
Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments (Google Workspace, Azure, AWS)
Demonstrable experience owning security frameworks and supporting audits
Deep experience in structured IT asset lifecycle management and hardware refresh strategy
