This is a large-scale program looking to uplift IT infrastructure across regional aviation hubs servicing 2000+ flights a month. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be the driving force behind a large-scale transformation encompassing Network, Physical, and IT (Data/Cloud/Storage) infrastructure.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the Key Technology Partner to business stakeholders for all IT projects relating to IT Infrastructure capability uplift program
Lead the Project Delivery Team, overseeing multiple lifecycles including SAFe Agile and SDLC
Establish and manage the Operating Model for portfolio prioritisation and pipeline governance
Develop CIC requests for investment funding and lead IT project CAPEX submissions
Manage the overall project portfolio in collaboration with PMO and Capital teams
Directly oversee Project Managers to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
Track and report on business benefits and ROI against original project investments
Implement and manage Risk Management Frameworks and Cyber Security policies
Set annual performance targets and conduct reviews for the delivery team
Requirements:
Extensive experience in Program/Project Management within the asset and/or infrastructure industries, preferably the Aviation industry (Cargo, Travel, or otherwise)
A minimum of 7+ years in tech/digital delivery, including at least 3+ years in a leadership role
Deep expertise across agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams on complex programmes
Strong technical knowledge of airport systems, digital platforms, and technology delivery practices
Professional certifications such as PMP/PMI
Financially savvy with direct experience in budget ownership, CAPEX submissions, and ROI reporting
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and vendor management
