As Head of IT Delivery, you are responsible for end-to-end delivery performance across multiple business and technology streams. You lead not only what is delivered, but how teams collaborate, grow and execute. Your leadership directly influences how smoothly services run, how effectively changes land, and how technology empowers people rather than slowing them down. You will guide complex transformation initiatives, oversee multiple delivery streams, and ensure alignment across business and technology-always with a focus on people, clarity and long-term impact.
Job Responsibility:
Translate business strategy into clear, realistic and executable delivery roadmaps
Lead complex transformation programs with strong governance, transparency and ownership
Create alignment across business and technology, balancing priorities and dependencies
Identify risks early and respond with calm, thoughtful decision-making
Ensure delivery excellence without losing sight of adoption, people and sustainability
Coach senior managers and delivery leaders, building strong leadership capability
Foster a culture that combines accountability with psychological safety
Support teams to navigate ambiguity, pressure and large-scale change
Requirements:
Master’s degree in IT, Business, Technology or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in IT delivery, transformation or program leadership
Proven experience leading senior professionals and large multi-disciplinary teams
Strong ownership of budgets, delivery commitments and business cases
Deep understanding of how IT delivery supports business strategy and customer outcomes
Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
A calm, analytical and people-centred leadership style
Must already reside in the Netherlands (valid work permit required)
Be able to work onsite approximately three days per week, within commuting distance of The Hague (~30 km)
Nice to have:
Experience in telecoms or other high-availability, customer-critical environments
Exposure to large-scale IT transformations (e.g., networks, OSS/BSS, customer platforms)
Experience across both B2B and B2C domains
Familiarity with modern delivery models in fast-moving, regulated industries
