Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) as a critical member of our Senior Leadership Team, working as part of the national Counter Terrorism Policing network in our mission to reduce the threat and fear of terrorism and wider national security threats in the South East and beyond.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic lead for intelligence, responsible for the effective management of our intelligence processes in support of all of the unit’s departments
  • Collection and protection of sensitive intelligence sources
  • Relationships with other organisations, regions and forces
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the CTP network’s Intelligence Capability
  • Line management responsibility for the region’s CT Borders Policing operation
  • Line management responsibility for our regional prisons intelligence unit
  • Being the CTP lead for a national capability

Requirements:

  • Intelligence management background
  • Experience and skill in managing risk and leading in environments that have involved the use of sensitive intelligence to investigate serious or complex crimes
  • Good understanding of investigation and court processes and procedures
