Head of Insurance Solutions

• Maintain governance and oversight of internal and external insurance partners from the bank’s perspective, across GPB and retail segment
• oversee sales journey, process, and controls to manage distribution risks across retail and GPB
• collaborate with Distribution, HSBC Life and Second line of defence to ensure distribution risks are identified and effectively managed
• responsible for insurance product / third party onboarding and ongoing review in line with HSBC standards across the continuum
• work with HSBC Life on product requirements and development as well as commercialization strategies and tactical campaigns with segment specific proposition, representing distributor’s needs
• lead insurance distribution initiatives such as process streamlining and system enhancements to improve frontline / client experience
• ensure the timely implementation of regulatory initiatives related to insurance distribution in a commercially viable manner whilst ensuring reputational risk impact is mitigated and/or minimised
• work with HSBC Life and accountable for insurance distribution training materials and frontline communications

• Extensive knowledge and experience in insurance products and platforms
• extensive experience and proven track record in designing and implementing policies and procedures in a matrix environment, with a client centric mindset and strong awareness in managing risk
• knowledge of corporate governance requirements for banks
• strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• professional insurance qualification
• fluency in English and Cantonese
