Job Description

As the Head of Insurance Products, you’ll play a key role in leading our insurance vertical and building a distribution powerhouse from the ground up. We are seeking a high-impact Insurance Expert for this position, which requires a rare combination of deep industry mastery, hands-on execution, and the business acumen to ensure our insurance products are commercially viable, regulatory-compliant, and seamlessly integrated into our platforms.

Job Responsibility

  • Serving as the primary expert on insurance regulations and Italian distribution frameworks, ensuring the legal and regulatory health of the business line
  • Acting as the lead negotiator and point of contact for brokers and insurance companies, managing carrier relationships while we operate as the distributor
  • Driving the "Growth and Sales" strategy for the insurance line, taking full responsibility for how products are distributed and sold in the market
  • Managing the entire lifecycle of the vertical, aligning regulatory requirements, partner capabilities, and customer needs
  • Partnering with the Product Team to identify and craft differentiating products that add value to Consumers, Merchants, and Employers within the Satispay network
  • Leading and mentoring high-performing teams, collaborate closely with peers with structured communication and transparency

Requirements

  • Deep, proven industry experience and technical knowledge of the insurance sector
  • Extensive knowledge of Italian regulations and experience navigating insurance distribution compliance
  • Track record of identifying profitable products and building distribution channels

  • Willingness to balance high-level strategy shared with Founders and hands-on execution
