Job Description:

To define long-term organisational strategic and operational goals, build key internal and external customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Represent the entire range of company products and services to all customers, while leading the Installation Projects planning cycles and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. To improve Global’s market position and achieve financial growth by increasing, retaining and expanding relationships, across all Market sectors, with a focus on strategically important customers. To actively manage the function effectively, including managing a diverse technical and non-technical team.

Job Responsibility:

  • To deliver new installation projects successfully on time and on budget, directly and through the team
  • Define and implement long-term organisational strategic goals, building key customer relationships and identifying business opportunities
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Manage existing customers and ensure they stay satisfied and positive about the company
  • Direct the involvement of the team, in order to meet project performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable revenue volume
  • Build a culture of ‘great customer service’ through managing the Field Resources and ensure they stay satisfied and positive about the company
  • Create a world class health and safety culture
  • Build and lead a high performing team, through robust personnel development
  • Support Sales and Marketing teams to prospect for potential new customers
  • Build Operational relationships with key clients
  • Build relevant reporting systems to determine how best to manage and motivate the Field
  • Ensure resources to achieve budgets and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system
  • Achieves revenue targets across the entire Installation Projects work in hand
  • Meets expectations for profitability
  • Contractual effectiveness across all Projects to ensure capitalisation of costs recovery and avoid contract clause penalties
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives, KPIs, and SLAs as defined by the company
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings and Retention scores
  • Builds an efficient and effective resource, across all locations and custom

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing significant installation projects – preferably in the Fire and/or security industry
  • Commercially astute – demonstrated in an installation project environment
  • People Management – experience of leading and developing teams of technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Financial acumen – Experience of developing and managing budgets profitably
  • Aware of current systems and technology and of developing technology
  • Managing sub-contractor performance
  • Demonstrable experience of managing customer relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
