Are you ready to shape the future of procurement in a fast‑moving, high‑growth organisation? We’re looking for a Head of Indirect Procurement to lead our strategy, deliver meaningful value, and establish Indirect Procurement as a trusted business partner across the group. With a substantial annual spend across a wide variety of indirect categories, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact - driving efficiency, strengthening supplier relationships, and championing best‑in‑class procurement. You’ll report to our Procurement Operations Director and lead a small, focused team including an Indirect Category Manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a full review of current purchasing practices and identifying key opportunities for improvement
  • Developing and delivering an indirect procurement strategy that aligns with company goals and supports annual savings targets
  • Managing and implementing structured, end‑to‑end procurement processes - from sourcing and negotiation to contract award and ongoing supplier management
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams to embed best practice and promote a planned, strategic procurement approach
  • Providing clear, regular reporting on performance, cost savings and strategic activity
  • Implementing effective procurement policies, governance and frameworks
  • Leading supplier selection, onboarding and ongoing supplier relationship management (SRM)
  • Driving innovation, value and sustainability across all indirect categories, supporting our ESG commitments

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior procurement role, particularly within indirect / GNFR categories
  • A strong track record of delivering cost optimisation while balancing business needs
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practice, legal considerations and industry trends
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • professional qualifications (e.g., CIPS) are a strong advantage
