We’re looking for a Head of Indirect Procurement to lead our strategy, deliver meaningful value, and establish Indirect Procurement as a trusted business partner across the group. With a substantial annual spend across a wide variety of indirect categories, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact - driving efficiency, strengthening supplier relationships, and championing best‑in‑class procurement. You’ll report to our Procurement Operations Director and lead a small, focused team including an Indirect Category Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Leading a full review of current purchasing practices and identifying key opportunities for improvement
Developing and delivering an indirect procurement strategy that aligns with company goals and supports annual savings targets
Managing and implementing structured, end‑to‑end procurement processes - from sourcing and negotiation to contract award and ongoing supplier management
Building strong relationships with internal teams to embed best practice and promote a planned, strategic procurement approach
Providing clear, regular reporting on performance, cost savings and strategic activity
Implementing effective procurement policies, governance and frameworks
Leading supplier selection, onboarding and ongoing supplier relationship management (SRM)
Driving innovation, value and sustainability across all indirect categories, supporting our ESG commitments
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a senior procurement role, particularly within indirect / GNFR categories
A strong track record of delivering cost optimisation while balancing business needs
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions
Solid understanding of procurement best practice, legal considerations and industry trends
A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
