Allen Lane are currently supporting a Local Authority with the recruitment of an Interim Head of HRA Finance. The Council are looking for an experienced leader to manage their Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and Temporary accommodation function. You’ll lead a skilled team, drive strategic financial planning, and ensure HRA and TA budgets are managed efficiently and transparently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead HRA and TA finance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and elected members
  • Ensure compliance, governance, and value-for-money in housing services

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CCAB/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with extensive Local Authority and HRA experience
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to communicate complex financial info clearly
